I'm Thomas, and I work out of Sydney.

Most of what I do is for small brands with something to sell: a new range, a new menu, a launch. That means shooting to a spec, keeping a whole range looking like it belongs together, and handing over files you can use the same day.

I learned it in magazines, working to a brief. That teaches you to turn up, get the shot, and file on time.

Since then it's been fashion ranges, swimwear campaigns, skincare, activewear and a lot of food. The food is mine end to end. I cook it, style it and shoot it, which is the fastest way I know to keep getting better.
